Water Softener Resin Refill

Water Softener Resin Refill

$9.99

Replace resin without replacing the cartridge!A water softener works by exchanging sodium ions with calcium and magnesium ions, the minerals primarily responsible for hard water. What makes the water softener cartridge work is the sand-like resin found inside the cartridge. A money-saving option is to replace the resin rather than replacing the cartridge. This Water Softener Resin Refill is 1.25 lb. of resin to replace the used resin inside the cartridge. Though the water softener cartridge can be recharged several times, it can eventually become too laden with sodium to be completely recharged. When your water begins to feel less ?soft? it is time to change the resin. To change the resin, unscrew the one lid on either end of the water softener cartridge. Remove the foam and empty out the old resin. Pour the entire contents of the Water Softener Resin Refill into the cartridge and replace the foam and lid. The water softener cartridge is now ready for use. The refill resin you receive may be a different color than the resin currently inside the water softener cartridge. The color has no impact on the resin?s effectiveness. 1.25 lb.

Water Softener Filter Cartridge

Water Softener Filter Cartridge

$19.99

Eliminate hard water with this reusable cartridge and your Clear Inline Hose Filter!Insert the water softener cartridge into your Clear Inline Hose Filter Canister to eliminate hard water as it travels through the hose. Once the filter and cartridge is in place, there are no extra steps required. Just turn on the water to get softened, silky water straight from the water hose. This cartridge neutralizes calcium and magnesium in the water, thereby eliminating hard water. Your car shampoo will lather better and your vehicle will be free of those nasty water spots. This cartridge can be renewed and reused indefinitely. A water softener works by replacing the calcium and magnesium ions with sodium ions. Sodium ions are ?soft?. They don?t produce scale and they don?t stain. They change the actual texture of the water, making it feel ?slippery?. This causes water to sheet off the vehicle more effectively. Water that remains on the vehicle will not leave spots. The water softener cartridge can be recharged with the 2 lb. Filter Rejuvenating Tablets. Pour enough tablets to cover the bottom of a bucket or plastic dishpan. Cover the tablets with water and let the cartridge soak in the solution overnight. It will work like new again!

Arsenic Water Filters

A study performed in 2000 reported traces of arsenic had been found in over 35 million homes in 25 states. Children and adults were unknowingly consuming this harmful chemical. Arsenic is odorless and tasteless and can enter your water though natural deposits in the earth or from agricultural and industrial practices.

The best way to protect you and your family is to purchase an arsenic Water Filter. The way an arsenic water filter works is by moving though a 7 stage filtration process. This is one of the most extensive means of purifying your tap water for worry free consumption

Stage one pushes water past micron fiber pads which removes any suspended particles such as silt, sediment, rust, and any other undissolved matter. During the second stage, the water will then move though Arsenic-selective resin that is specifically designed to remove it from in your water.  The water will then move though an ion exchange resin which softens the water and removes any metals. The water will then travel though a blend of copper and zinc to remove chlorine and oxidize your water.

The final stages of arsenic water filtration pushes the water though granulated activated carbon that is a super effective absorbent for an array of organic contaminants such as chlorine, pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, and volatile organic compounds, leaving your water fresh clean and pure.

Arsenic Water Filtration Systems range from $100-$300 depending on the quality of your system, but will pay for themselves over time by keeping your family healthful and chemical free. Why drink unsafe water when you don’t have to? Give yourself peace of mind by installing an arsenic filtration in your home today.
