conditioning my tank water before change?
i am changing the water for my betta. i dont change half of the water, but all of it instead because the water gets so murky and filled with his poop.
i was just wondering if i can put the fish back into the tank shortly after applying the Water Conditioner? if not, how long should i wait for the conditioner to “condition” the water? the fish is currently in a cup, just like he was in the pet store. (directions on timing dint come with the conditioner bottle)

There’s absolutely no right way to keep them when they’re kept in a cup. Your fish will have a short and miserable life. This is your chance to improve his life and get him a real home. These are active fish with a ton of personality, and they can live for over 5 years when kept properly. Yet people stick them in cups where they can do nothing but float in one spot until they die from the pollution of their own waste.
Fish stores sell them in cups because it’s temporary and they take up no space and the betta’s can’t all be put into the same tank. That’s the only reason. Get a tank of at least 2 gallons with a filter, instead of suffering your fish into a short and useless life like everyone else does.
For now, you can put the fish into the new water as soon as the temperature is the same of the water he was in before. Water conditioner works instantly, so that’s not even a factor.

Why Are Water Conditioning Systems Losing Out To Water Purification Systems?
Water conditioning was once very popular. But now more and more people are resorting to water filtration techniques. There are logical reasons for doing so.
